Hi, welcome to my blog at the sixth day of blogmas. Not a lot happened today, because I’m still tired from sunday, so I only did a few house chores that couldn’t wait.
My breakfast was the same breakfast as ever: oatmeal with apple, raisins and spices.
Oh, I was lazy today, so I took all the pictures with my phone.
Then I went grocery shopping.
We’re on a budget, so there’s loads of beans (we still have plenty of rice and potatoes in our pantry). Two jars of peanut butter. Two jars of vegan mayo. Two bottles of lemonade (the stuff you mix with water), a bag of popcorn corn (not the microwave stuff, because this is cheaper) and a loaf of bread. And a box of frozen berries to mix up my breakfast oatmeal a bit, but that was already in the freezer. All of this, a huge pack of toilet paper, a bottle of laundry detergent and some cleaning stuff were a little over €30 and this should get us pretty much through the week togheter whith what we have in our pantry/fridge. Oh and there was bag of sugar too. Anyway, I’m quite proud of myself for not buying too much. I like the mixed beans btw, now I can have different beans in a meal without having like five different bags sitting in the pantry.
I’m a tired mess right now, is it too obvious?
More avocado pasta. That really does look better with my proper camera…
Then I made some hummus, for heatlhier snacking. I will write a recipe for that tomorrow.
The finished product in an ugly ass container. But at least I finally managed to make a good hummus.
For dinner is another tajine (tuesday tajine night? that wouldn’t be such a bad idea), because it’s filling and warming but not too heavy, so it’s a nice pre-workout dinner. It’s pretty much the same as last time, but this time with some random veggies I had in the fridge instead of frozen veggies. It’s cooking as we speak. So after dinner I have pilates with my mom. I’m not really feeling up to it because I’m so tired, but it’s been ages, so no excuses. I think dinner is ready, so that’s it for today. See you tomorrow.
